Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Events & Experience, the Ticketing & Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and success of events hosted at Lime Rock Park.
The main function of this role is to manage and maintain all racetrack ticketing operations.
This multifaceted position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, knack for organization, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
The optimal candidate will become a business leader on all matters related to ticketing operations including, but not limited to, maintaining digital ticketing platform, distribution & allocation of tickets, data acquisition, customer service, reporting, and on-site management.
Key
Responsibilities:
Customer Service.
o First on the phone to answer questions, direct calls, help Patrons complete ticket orders.
Ticketing Operations o Manage the end-to-end ticketing process for all events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in ticket sales and distribution.
o Manage and maintain online ticketing platform (TorkHub.
) o Fulfillment of all ticket orders, comps, donation requests, and sponsorship deliverables.
o Manage/order supplies related to ticketing functions.
o Management and distribution of seasonal hard card credentials and season long annual waiver management.
o Collaborate with internal teams to establish pricing structures, promotions, and discounts.
o Continues updating ticketing sales report on a weekly/biweekly basis.
Provides post event reports and reconciliation.
o Collaborate with accounting department.
o Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop fun, creative ways to increase ticket sales.
o Upload and maintain website calendar of events.
Event Support o Set up, program and stock ticket booths and Will Call prior to major events and breakdown after.
o Hire, train, schedule and manage 8-10 event ticket sellers for major events.
o Create and distribute event specific credential boards / parking hangtags to Guest Service staff and ticket sellers to avoid confusion as to who is allowed in designated areas.
o Assist in making and distributing meal vouchers for event staff.
o Assists in the management of the tracks event volunteer group.
o Problem solves any customer complaints ensuring a positive experience for all.
o Assist in planning and execution of small scale community events.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Professional Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated Ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Education and
Experience:
A minimum education level of Associates Degree A minimum of 1-2 years work experience Job Type:
